The pre-seed round will support the development and clinical testing of Carity’s digital health application.
Carity AG has closed its pre-seed financing round with the support of various angel investors and Evoleen AG. The raised capital will be invested in the technical development of a first version of Carity’s digital health coach as well as a first clinical pilot study to prove efficacy.
“We are grateful to our investors who believe with us in the need for more intensive psychosocial care services for cardiac patients,” says Frédéric Gabriel, CEO of Carity. Carity AG was founded in July 2021.
About Carity: Carity is a digital coach that supports patients with heart failure or after a heart attack during and after rehabilitation. The app, which includes a monitoring bracelet, boosts confidence and motivation, thus increasing the chance of successful rehabilitation. In addition to monitoring physical health, the psychosocial dimension plays a central role at Carity, as it is an essential component for the success of the therapy. In addition to contact with specialist staff, Carity therefore also enables connection with friends and relatives so that they too can contribute to successful recovery.
